Tears of the Wolf

As she sits quietly watching this beautiful sunset, she is filled with all of her dreams of tomorrow.
Soon this night will fall softly upon the land, this beautiful night with all of her quiet and peaceful splendor.
This night is sacred; it promises sanctuary from all of the thoughts and tears of this lifetime.
Lost in time and out of season, this Wolf contemplates her future, past, and the very spirit of her being.
Time is cruel, time is evil. Only on earth is time relevant.
Earth…….So here we are for our season, it is a short season indeed.
But in moments of sadness it can feel like an eternity.
Her tears fall softly to the ground.
Look deeply into my eyes, I am the Wolf.
